Police in Thessaloniki have arrested a woman after her 59-year-old partner reported that she bit his ear during an argument, severing part of it.
The incident took place in the Ampelokipoi area of Thessaloniki and prompted a domestic violence investigation. According to the complaint filed with police, the woman, who is the same age as the man, attacked him following a heated dispute.
The man went to hospital, where doctors provided first aid for the injury.
Authorities detained the woman shortly after the report. The Domestic Violence Office of Ampelokipoi–Menemeni has taken over the case and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
