US Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle and NFL player DeSean Henley attended the Olympiacos–Panathinaikos derby at Karaiskakis Stadium on Sunday evening, 8 February, for the 20th round of the Stoiximan Super League.
The two Americans previously attended the EuroLeague game between Olympiacos and Virtus Bologna at the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Friday, 6 February, highlighting their continued presence at Greece’s top sporting events.
Just before the match kickoff in Faliro, Guilfoyle and Henley met Olympiacos defender Lorenzo Pirola, exchanging signed jerseys with the NFL player. The pre-match moment drew attention ahead of the high-stakes “eternal rivals” derby.
