Stefanos Tsitsipas (world No. 32) maintained his excellent recent form by defeating France’s Arthur Rinderknech in straight sets (7-5, 6-3) and securing a place in the round of 16 at the ATP 500 tournament in Rotterdam.

February 11 proved to be a perfect day for Greek tennis on the international stage, with two important victories.
It started with Maria Sakkari qualifying for the WTA 1000 event in Doha, and continued with Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 32) in the Netherlands.
Coming off a flawless 3-0 record at the Davis Cup the previous weekend (8–9 February), the 27-year-old Greek star needed just 1 hour and 21 minutes to beat Rinderknech 7-5, 6-3. Tsitsipas held serve throughout the match and sealed victory with two key breaks—one to take the first set 7-5 and another early in the second set at 3-1.
His next opponent in Rotterdam will be the Dutch player Botic van de Zandschulp.
