A 15-year-old boy faces trial in Thessaloniki for distributing nude and semi-nude photos and videos of a 13-year-old girl via the internet. The court imposed a reformatory measure, placing him under the supervision of a juvenile probation officer for six months.
The victim allegedly attempted suicide twice after learning of the circulation of the material. Her mother filed a complaint in April 2024 with the Cyber Crime Division of Northern Greece, bringing the case to justice.
The Single-Member Juvenile Court of Thessaloniki found the boy guilty. It accepted that the girl attempted to end her life, a fact the defense disputed.
During the closed-door hearing, the teenager admitted to sending the explicit content to a friend, acknowledging his mistake. According to sources, he claimed the girl had initially shared the material with him through an online application during their previous communications.
