Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has warned that Turkey is emerging as "the new Iran" in terms of threats to Israel.
Speaking at the Conference of Presidents in Jerusalem, Bennett described Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as "a sophisticated and dangerous adversary who seeks to encircle Israel," according to reports from Israel National News and other sources.

He emphasized that a "new Turkish threat is emerging" and urged Israel to address challenges from both Ankara and Tehran at the same time, stating: “We must act, in different ways but simultaneously, against the threat from Tehran and against the hostility of Ankara."
Bennett's comments highlight growing concerns in Israel over Turkey's regional ambitions and its increasingly hostile stance toward the Jewish state.
