Glyfada’s women’s water polo team secured qualification for the Euro Cup quarter-finals after defeating Hapoel Yokneam 18-8 in Israel on Tuesday (18 February), in a match for the fifth round of Group B.

Brooke Ochoa starred for the Greek side, scoring four goals as Glyfada imposed their superiority from the opening quarter and effectively sealed their place in the last eight of the competition.
Coach Argyris Theodoropoulos’ team will now chase first place in Group B in the final group match on 28 February, when Glyfada host Hungary’s Vazutas.
The quarter scores were 5-2, 4-2, 5-2, 4-2 in Glyfada’s favour.
