So many celebrities and billionaires have all enjoyed a Greek holiday this summer, and now one of the most famous supermodels is the latest - Claudia Schiffer.

Schiffer, who rose to fame in the 1990s as one of the world’s most successful models, posted two photos to her 1.7 million Instagram followers from Greece.

Wearing a fuchsia dress, her sunglasses and holding a straw bag, the 51-year-old German first poses from inside a ship.

In the second snap, she smiles for the camera while enjoying her stroll around the island. The caption of her post writes: "Greece was calling my name."

The model's arrival in Greece became known a few days ago, when she was seen in Porto Heli.

In the photo released on social media and specifically through Instagram under the account name Soula Glamorous, she was wearing a striped dress and her white sunglasses.

Before Greece, the 51-year-old enjoyed a vacation in Croatia and Italy specifically on the Amalfi Coast, where she also published a series of photos.

Claudia Maria Schiffer, born 25 August 1970, is a German model and actress based in the United Kingdom.

The German model rose to fame in the 1990s as one of the world's most successful models, attaining supermodel status. In her early career, she was compared to Brigitte Bardot.

She has appeared on more than 1000 magazine covers and holds the record for the model with the most magazine covers, listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

In 2002, Forbes estimated her net worth to be around US$55 million.
