UK Greeks can’t vote in UK for EU elections

Greek citizens residing and working in the United Kingdom who wish to vote in the European elections will have to travel to neighbouring European Union countries in order to vote, the Greek Embassy in London announced on Wednesday. The UK will not be holding a vote due to the country's imminent departure from the EU.

The embassy said that those wishing to vote can submit an application at the consular office in London or the honorary consular offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Gibraltar, Leeds and Birmingham by March 21 in order to be included on the electoral rolls of Greek diplomatic and consular authorities in the country of his or her choosing.

The application can only be filled in through the interior ministry website.
