Australian princess of pop Kylie Minogue was recently spotted in Greece, taking a short trip to the island of Aegina. As reported on ‘To Proino’, the singer arrived at the port of Aegina on Wednesday, March 19, at approximately 11 a.m., spending around eight hours exploring the island before returning to Athens on the last boat of the day.
During her visit, Minogue explored some of Aegina’s well-loved landmarks, including the Temple of Aphaia and the Agios Nektarios monastery. She also tasted Aegina’s famous pistachios, which are a major part of the island’s identity.
Did you know? Aegina’s pistachios have been awarded Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status, meaning they are officially recognised for their unique quality and flavour. These pistachios are smaller, sweeter, and oilier than other varieties, making them a sought-after delicacy both in Greece and internationally. Visitors to Aegina often enjoy them in their natural form, roasted, or incorporated into traditional Greek sweets and desserts.
Minogue was described as warm and down-to-earth, happily taking photos with fans and engaging with locals. The team at ‘Aegina Transfers and Tours’ shared their excitement on social media after hosting the singer on a private VIP tour. They posted:
‘We had the honour to have the world-famous singer @kylieminogue with us! The Australian singer met our Aussie/Greek and the VIP tour turned into a friendly tour with lots of fun, great food, and with the promise to see each other in Aegina again soon!’
There have also been rumours that Minogue may be considering a hotel investment on the island. However, there has been no official confirmation from Minogue or her representatives regarding any business ventures in Greece.

Minogue, a globally recognised singer, songwriter, and actress, rose to fame in the late 1980s with hits such as ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ and ‘The Loco-Motion’. Over the decades, she has established herself as one of the best-selling female artists, with multiple chart-topping albums and an enduring presence in the music industry.
She is currently on her ‘Tension Tour’, which began on February 15, 2025, in Perth, Australia. The tour spans several continents, with upcoming performances in North America, Europe, and Asia.
