Armenia, India, and the United Arab Emirates were among the many countries to congratulate Greece on Independence Day, March 25.
UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has sent a message of congratulations to President Constantine Tassoulas of Greece on the anniversary of the Greek Revolution against the Ottoman Empire.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, sent two similar messages to President Tassoulas and to the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
For his part, Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar expressed “felications” to Greece.
“Felicitations to FM George Gerapetritis, the Government and the people of Greece on their Independence Day. Committed to strengthening our strategic partnership,” he wrote on X.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry of Armenia wished “continued peace and prosperity” to the “brotherly people of Greece” on Independence Day.
“Our warmest congratulations and best wishes of continued peace and prosperity to the Government and brotherly people of Greece on the occasion of Independence Day. Armenia highly values long-standing friendship with Greece based on mutual support, close and active coop in various fields,” the ministry said in a statement.
