Greek team Athinaikos advanced to the EuroCup Women semifinals after a dramatic 79-68 away win against Avenida in Spain on Thursday, overturning a six-point deficit from the first leg in Greece (65-71).

The Greek team, coached by Stella Kaltsidou, secured their spot among the competition’s final four and will face French side Villeneuve d’Ascq, with the first leg scheduled in Greece on 26 February and the second leg in France on 4 March.
