Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi to strengthen economic ties and discuss regional developments. Serverfarm and IPTO have launched a joint venture, Gemini, to build hyperscale data centers across Greece. The initiative will address the growing demand for data center capacity, starting with a 130MW campus in the Greater Athens Area. This partnership combines Serverfarm’s expertise with IPTO’s infrastructure capabilities to deliver sustainable, high-quality data center solutions and establish Greece as a key digital hub.
Edgnex Data Centers, in partnership with PPC Group, is set to develop a 12.5MW data center in Athens, Greece, as part of the ‘Data In Scale’ joint venture. This project aims to bolster Greece’s digital infrastructure and establish the country as a key player in Southeast Europe’s tech ecosystem. Construction begins in Q1 2025, with plans to expand capacity to 25MW in future phases.
