SYRIZA leader Socrates Famellos is set to visit Ramallah on June 4–5 for a series of high-level meetings with Palestinian Authority officials. The visit highlights Greece’s renewed diplomatic engagement in the region, with a focus on humanitarian aid for Gaza, regional cooperation, and reaffirming parliamentary support for the recognition of the State of Palestine.

Polakis’s abrasive remarks towards a Health Minister’s associate, which left SYRIZA colleague Athina Linou in tears, prompted swift action from party leadership.
