Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Cyprus for a two-day visit, marking a historic step in India-Cyprus relations. Welcomed by President Nikos Christodoulides, Modi attended a business roundtable and will sign a Joint Declaration on Partnership to enhance cooperation in energy, defense, and digital innovation. The leaders launched the India-Cyprus-Greece Business Council, aiming to boost trade and investment, with Cyprus serving as India’s gateway to the EU.
