Icon of Panagia left standing as House Burns down

Rescue crews and police offices have found amongst ashes of a burnt house in Rafina, an icon of Panagia (Virgin Mary) wrapped in flames but still standing.

The house was in the Skoufeika area in Rafina, where the flames destroyed the entire home leaving nothing but ashes and the icon of Panagia standing upright on the edge of the windowsill.

With such a miracle, rescue crews and police officers made the sign of the Cross and prayed to Panagia for the people who are still missing and for those who have tragically lost their lives in the deadly fires.
