Just Gold have announced their partnership with Universal Music Company Minos EMI.

Launching in Melbourne later this month, the collaboration will give clients and network a new innovative digital tool to co-curate directly with MINOS EMI playlists that reflect their identity. The playlists will then become available on leading platforms such as Spotify and iTunes for the audience to connect with.

Minos EMI has been synonymous with Greek music since 1931. This iconic record label was the first to build a recording studio in Greece, with its back catalogue holding treasures of contemporary Greek music history, including the Rebetika, Laika & traditional (demotic) songs Greeks all carry in their cultural DNA.

Just Gold CEO Kyriakos Gold stated that "we are excited in the perspective of reintroducing a classic Greek repertoire to listeners, along with our goal to expose them to discover current Greek music trends.”

Margarita Matsa, Minos EMI CEO noted that "music and lyrics have been our way of communication for many decades now. We live and breathe basically through our songs. We have sung together our joys and our sorrows, our successes and our failures. And that is what we keep on doing. We sing our feelings. This is a basic element of our culture; our songs bring us all together and we are glad that we will be able to do so through our collaboration with Just Gold Productions."

This new collaborative tool will be available to enterprises, cultural organisations, media, brands, foundations, institutes & personalities that are interested in Greek or Greek Australian culture, world music or operating on a multicultural level.

"Our collaboration with Just Gold gives us the opportunity to introduce our repertoire to everyone who loves Greek Music. This project will bring us closer, it will give us the pleasure to constantly provide possibilities for people to discover and love Greek music in a direct way, bridging the distance that separates us" Margarita continued.
