Yesterday saw another 800 new cases of COVID-19 in Greece with an aggressive increase in Thessaloniki and a 40% increase in Attica.
The concern is evident after another day of more than 800 cases in Greece, with a remarkable dispersion.
Attica and Thessaloniki “monopolize” the first places, however, there are areas that have a high alarm level.
According to the data from the case map published yesterday, the geography of COVID-19 in Greece is as follows:
290 cases in the Attica Region
197 cases in Thessaloniki
12 cases in Achaia
20 cases in Kozani
25 cases in Larissa
35 cases in Serres
and 46 cases are under investigation.
The areas where the measures are implemented are Kozani and Kastoria, two areas in which the risk level is at Level 4.
Another 24 are included in Level 3. They are: East Attica, North Sector of Athens, West Attica, West Sector of Athens, Attica Islands, South Sector of Athens, Central Sector of Athens, Piraeus, Achaia, Boeotia, Heraklion, Ioannina, Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki Zakynthos, Kea-Kythnos, Larissa, Lesvos, Mykonos, Pella, Samos, Serres and Trikala.
Good news for some areas
On the other hand, from Monday, 25 areas of the country will be included in the “Green” level, 34 in the “Yellow”, 14 in the “Orange” and two areas in the “Red” level.
More specifically, from Monday, areas that will go from the “Orange” level to the “Yellow” are:

Heraklion, Crete
Mykonos
Pella
Samos
Lesvos
Saronic Gulf Islands
Those passing from “Green” to “Yellow” level are:
Arta
Evros
Ilia
Thesprotia and
Skiathos
From the “Yellow” level to the “Green” are:
Grevena
Laconia
Paros
