Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis gave his own message for Labor Day on social media.
"We celebrate Labour Day with deeds: With the Digital Work Card, where working time will be recorded and protected.
"With the right to disconnect.
"By choosing the employee himself to arrange his employment time with a substantial guarantee of 8 hours.
And also: With additional parental leave, paternity leave and protection of a new father from dismissal.
"But also with a solid shield against violence and harassment at work.
"This is how we ensure and expand the rights of employees.
"We protect their health from the pandemic and support their income.
"And we are building a Greece with more and better jobs.
"Away from slogans.
"And looking to tomorrow."
