Dendias to visit Ukraine on Monday

Greeks of Ukraine Dendias

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will go to Ukraine on Monday and is expected to be received by President Volodymyr Zelensky and Parliament Speaker Dmytro Razumkov, and to meet with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

The talks are expected to focus on deepening bilateral political, economic and cultural relations, the European Union's Eastern Neighborhood Policy and in particular EU-Ukraine relations, a statement from from the Foreign Ministry said.

They will also discuss broader developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea region.

After the talks with the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, joint statements are expected to be made around 11.45 (Greek time).

The Minister of Foreign Affairs is also expected to deliver a speech at a Ukrainian forum.

Afterwards, Dendias will go to Odessa, where he will visit the Museum of the Friendly Society, as well as the Greek Park.

He is also expected to have meetings with representatives of the Greek communities, as well as businessmen active in the area.
