Ruben Semedo: Olympiacos defender accused of rape is released on €10,000 bail

Olympiacos defender Ruben Semedo, charged with gang-raping a 17-year-old girl with his manager, was released on a €10,000 bail after testifying before the investigating magistrate for 2.5 hours on Thursday.

The Portuguese defender, who plays for Greek Super League team Olympiacos, was accused by the young woman of being lured to his home after they met at a night club and then gang-raping her with his 40-year-old manager.

The young woman testified earlier, while there is information her mother testified as well.

The codefendant, a Nigerian, is expected to testify on Friday.
