Greece to donate 250,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses to Vietnam

Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou met with Vietnamese Vice President Bố Thị Xuân Linh and pledged to donate 250,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses to Vietnam.

Sakellaropoulou referred to the global challenges facing the two countries in a difficult environment because of the climate crisis and the pandemic.

The Greek president stressed 250,000 AstraZeneca vaccine doses will be donated to Vietnam, while noting that the two peoples have common values ​​and their relations have been strengthening recently.

For her part, Bố Thị Xuân Linh thanked Greece for the vaccine offer and addressed an official invitation to  Sakellaropoulou to visit Vietnam, noting that the two countries are distinguished for respecting international law.
