Baklava sold in Victoria recalled by food safety watchdog
Consumers with a certain nut allergy may have a reaction if they consume the product.
The popular dessert item has been recalled as it contains peanuts - an ingredient which FSANZ said had not been declared.
“Any consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” the food safety watchdog said.
Those who have an allergy or intolerance to peanuts have been urged not to eat the product.
Consumers should instead return the baklava to the place where they purchased it for a full cash refund.
