Bomb threat on Athens-Thessaloniki train turns out to be a hoax

A call warning about a bomb on the Intercity train from Athens to Thessaloniki on Saturday turned out to be a hoax.

The train was stopped at the SKA stop in Acharnes shortly after departing from the center of the city and passengers evacuated. A bomb squad inspected the train and found nothing, allowing the train to continue to the north.
