The new generation of the imposing Maserati GranTurismo is already in Greece, specifically at the dealership of the Italian brand based in Athens. The Italian model is the first to arrive and as you will see from the exclusive images of News Auto, it is blue.
It is a model with a history whose basic design lines have been preserved compared to the previous generation. Although it does not look very big in the photos, up close the opposite is true, as evidenced by both its length and width.
Specifically, the length reaches 4.96 metres while the width is 2.21 metres (with mirrors).
The original version
From there, the changes focus on the front and rear lighting bodies, the new large logo on the front of the grille, the cabin, the equipment and the engines. Also an element that is not visible at first glance but is impressive and differs from the previous generation is the huge front hood.
The specific GranTurismo that came to Greece is in the Modena version, which is also the original model. This one is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 490 hp and 600 Nm. In terms of performance, 0-100 km/h is achieved in 3.9 seconds, while the top speed reaches 302 km/h.
How much?
Note that the GranTurismo is also available in the Trofeo version which produces 550 hp and 660 Nm. In this case, 0-100 is achieved in 3.5 seconds while the top speed reaches 320 km/h. In any case, the Italian coupe model receives movement from all four wheels.
The price of the model starts from 240,000 euros.
