Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have been in Greece since Friday, with the former US president arriving in Antiparos under extreme secrecy and accompanied by at least 30 American agents.
They arrived at noon on Sunday in Paros by private flight. According to Proto Thema, it will be accommodated in the villa of Tom Hanks, with whom they were travelling.
The guests of the Hanks couple will stay in Antiparos until Tuesday, June 20, as two days later, the former American president is scheduled to attend the SNF Nostos Conference 2023.
He will discuss ways to strengthen democracy and the importance of supporting the next generation of leaders together with the President of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Andreas Dracopoulos.
This is the second time that Barack Obama has visited the Cultural Center of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNFCC). In 2016, during the visit as part of his administration, had delivered a moving speech from the stage of the Stavros Niarchos Hall.
Cruise to Ios
