The new Minister of Citizen Protection, Notis Mitarachi, approved the process for procuring portable cameras that police will wear. Soon the rapid response (DIAS) teams, and later all the police, will wear portable cameras to record everything!
According to News Auto, this Hytera Video and Audio Camera (RVM) allows users to record, save and share video, audio and image files remotely.
The device incorporates a high-definition camera with a microphone.
Combined with Hytera 's advanced multi-function wireless system, the RVM (Remote Video Microphone) allows the user to make and receive voice commands, trigger an emergency alarm and transmit real-time video to a control center over an LTE network.
RVM is designed to work even in low light conditions.
The Hytera RVM connects to a specially designed multi-module charger for automatic export of audio, video, image and log files to Digital Evidence Management (DEM) software. DEM ensures that the digital content being captured remains undamaged until it can be safely transferred to the control centre.
