A 71-year-old pickpocket from Peru who was robbing bags and wallets from unsuspecting tourists at the Athens "Eleftherios Venizelos" Airport was arrested by police.
A new video published by Proto Thema shows the moment when the 71-year-old grabs a mobile phone from a woman's bag.

The elderly woman, as can be seen in the video, removes the mobile phone from a travellers bag and then escapes.

After an investigation, it emerged that the foreigner, after the theft, boarded a bus bound for Piraeus, where, following searches, she was located and arrested.
In her possession were two mobile phone, which was attributed to the victim, and a fake driver's license. An additional four cases of theft of mobile phones and wallets from people at the airport were identified.
It is pointed out that the 71-year-old has previously concerned the authorities for similar offences.
The arrested person was taken to the competent prosecutor yesterday.
