The foreigner, aged 48, was discovered unconscious around midday at the "NIKITIS" beach in N. Marmaras, Sithonia, Halkidiki. Despite swift efforts to revive him, he was transported to Agios Nikolaos Health Center where his passing was sadly confirmed. As his body awaits transfer to the Forensic and Immigration Laboratory for a thorough necropsy, the 3rd Port Department of Marmara Prefecture under the jurisdiction of the Port Authority of Ierissos is conducting a preliminary investigation.

Tragedy struck once again as a 79-year-old man was pulled from the waters of the "FELOTIS" area off Kythira. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to Kythera General Hospital, he could not be saved.

In response to these heartrending events, the Second Port Department of Kythira, part of the Port Authority of Neapolis Voion, has launched a preliminary investigation to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
