The Greek Men's National Team is preparing for the FIBA Basketball World Cup and has arrived in Manila.

Greece will play Jordan, the USA and New Zealand in the Philippine capital to qualify for the quarterfinals. The team may miss its big star Giannis Antetokounmpo, but the organisers want to promote Greece.

They galloped and asked the Greek internationals and Dimitris Itoudis about their favourite Greek food, and the souvlaki stole the show.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Ioannis Papapetrou, Nikos Rogkavopoulos and Thomas Walkup chose souvlaki. Itoudis chose moussaka, while Georgios Papagiannis and Dinos Mitoglou answered pastitsio. Dimitrios Moraitis chose cannelloni, while Lefteris Bochoridis chose gemista.

Meanwhile, Greece is playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo, the two-time NBA MVP for Milwaukee who is sidelined this summer while recovering from offseason knee surgery.

Greece, even without Antetokounmpo, figures to be the top competition for the U.S. when group-stage play starts at the World Cup next weekend. Greece is the No. 9 nation in the FIBA rankings; New Zealand is No. 26 and Jordan is No. 33.

The top two finishers in each group move to the second round. Not surprisingly, the race in Group C seems like it will be for second place after the way this exhibition turned out.
