It all started on a sunny day on a Greek beach, as Fiona and Michael celebrated their honeymoon. Fiona, reflecting on the transformation, shares, "If I hadn't gotten into naturism, I would still be reclusive and shy. Going nude has done wonders for my confidence."

"France and Spain were the best places for nudism for sure because they're so kitted out for it," Fiona noted. "Those countries are much more liberal about it and have amazing and beautiful facilities."
From Honeymoon to Nudist Hotel
Fast forward 30 years, and Fiona and Michael decided to take their passion for naturism to the next level. In 2022, they sold their home, purchased a 70ft narrowboat, and transformed it into a unique naturist hotel. The boat, aptly named "Naked Dreams," now serves as a floating paradise for fellow naturists.
"We wanted to try and live off-grid as much as possible, work for ourselves, and have a base in the UK," Fiona explained. "That's when we had the idea to split it into two areas: an area for us to live in and an area at the other end of the boat that we would turn into and rent out as a hotel."
The couple spent four months perfecting their floating paradise, where guests are pampered with cruises along the picturesque Bath and Bristol waterways, gourmet meals, massages provided by Fiona, and yoga sessions guided by Michael. The boat offers privacy for guests by allowing the couple to screen off either end when needed.
Naturism: Transformative and Empowering
Before their first fateful skinny-dip, Fiona and Michael had never considered naturism. However, their journey from the crowded beach at their hotel to the quieter, liberating shoreline changed their lives forever.
While the UK may lack a robust naturist scene, the couple believes it's time for change. "Naturism is still secretive and prudish here," Fiona observed. "It's a societal thing as people connect it with sex and sleaziness."

Fiona, who once struggled with body image issues, now feels empowered by the naturist lifestyle. "It was difficult to begin with, and sometimes I still have to block that voice out, but it is possible, and it makes me feel so much better," she shared.
