In Thessaloniki, the police have apprehended seven individuals who are believed to be part of a criminal organization responsible for smuggling 585 kilograms of cocaine from Latin America. T

he suspected mastermind of the gang, a 50-year-old Albanian citizen, was under surveillance by the authorities. This criminal group also included his wife, two nieces, and three other individuals.

The gang came to light when the police intercepted a 21-year-old man in the city who was found in possession of 239 packages of cocaine, weighing a total of 280 kg. Just ten minutes later, in a different area of the city, a 33-year-old man attempted to flee from the police and resorted to ramming a police vehicle before crashing into a school fence. Upon searching his vehicle, the authorities discovered 238 packages of cocaine, weighing a total of 277 kg.

During a raid on the alleged leader's residence, the police discovered an additional 23 packages of cocaine, weighing 26 kg, along with €7,440 in cash, seven mobile phones, four bank cards, and other equipment. Shockingly, police photographs of the drug haul indicate that some of the packages were labeled with Nazi swastikas.

It's worth noting that back in May, Peruvian authorities seized packages of cocaine marked with Nazi swastikas and the name "Hitler" at a port in northern Peru. It is suspected that these packages were intended to be shipped to Belgium.
