The Mill of the Elves, Trikala 2023

Sunday night's opening ceremony of the 12th Mill of the Elves was worthy of Greece's largest Christmas theme park. Despite the bitter cold, young and old arrived at the Christmas village in Central Greece to welcome the festive season.

Visitors to the Christmas village in Trikala saw the night sky lit up by sparklers. This year's event has as its central theme one of the most popular books ever, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

The Little Prince was on the scene of the opening ceremony along with the other protagonists of Christmas, namely Santa Claus, the Elves, the Pilot (another protagonist of the novel) and many others.

The highlight of the evening was Josephine's concert.

The youth's favourite singer entertained the thousands of spectators who attended the opening ceremony. Josephine's concert was the first of many happenings that visitors to the Mill will have the opportunity to enjoy this year.

The Mill of the Elves will be in place until January 7th, with opening hours from 10 am to 10 pm and free entry.
