The best hotels and resorts in the world, The Gold List 2024, announced by the editors of Condé Nast Traveler.
In particular, the Gold List, which includes 68 resorts and hotels on four continents, captures almost a year's work with hundreds of hours of research, searching and passionate discussion among the editors of seven cities, aiming to inspire travellers for their next trips.
In Europe, 29 hotels were selected and hosted in more than ten countries. There are also two Greek hotels, Porto Zante in Zakynthos and the Poseidonion Grand Hotel in Spetses.
For the hotel Porto Zante, it is mentioned that its high, personalised services, the spa, the natural environment and the waves of the Ionian Sea, create an ideal setting for renewal, rejuvenation and luxurious family vacations. In addition, its comfortable villas, swimming pools, restaurants, the Japanese-Asian Maya, and the Greek-Mediterranean Club House are just some of the features of the excellent resort of Zakynthos.

Among the rest of Europe's hotels included in the Gold List of 2024 include Badrutt's Palace in Switzerland, Claridge's in London, Cashel Palace in Ireland, Domaine des Etangs, Auberge Resorts Collection in France, Finca Cortesin in Spain, The Gritti Palace in Venice, Hotel d 'Inghilterra in Rome, the Hotel Imperial in Vienna and the Palacio Principe Real in Lisbon.
In the other continents, in the USA, Canada and the Caribbean, first on the Gold List are 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay in Hawaii, Casa Cipriani in New York and Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, in Mexico, Central and South America the first three hotels are the Cirqa, Relais & Chateaux in Peru, Copacabana Palace in Brazil and Explora Patagonia in Chile, in Africa and the Middle East Bab al-Shams in Dubai, Dar Ahlam in Morocco and El Fenn in Marrakesh were first selected, while finally, in Asia the first three hotels on the Gold List they are Ahilya Fort Devi Maheshwar in India, Amanpuri in Phuket and Bawah Reserve in Indonesia.
