The temperature in Chania dropped significantly to -5 degrees, while Volos registered a maximum temperature of only 7 degrees. The cold weather continues to grip the region.

Strong winds are still prevalent in Magnesia and the Sporades, causing disturbances in transportation. In a recent incident, an Olympic Air flight bound for Skiathos was unable to land at the airport due to wind gusts of up to 100 kilometers per hour in Xanemos. As a result, the flight had to return to Athens for safety reasons.

Due to the adverse weather conditions, ships remain tied up in the port of Volos, and scheduled itineraries to the islands have been disrupted. Passengers are advised to stay updated with the latest information regarding their travel plans.

Residents and visitors in the affected areas are advised to exercise caution and follow local authorities' instructions regarding safety measures during extreme weather conditions.
