Thessaloniki: Pakistani man beat and robbed a couple in their car

A young couple fell victim to a brutal robbery by a Pakistani and his accomplice in the early hours of last Sunday in Evosmos, Thessaloniki.

The 22-year-old Pakistani man, who was arrested, and his accomplice entered the car in which the couple was, attacked them and stole their money and personal belongings.

The victims of the robbery were taken to the hospital by the Hellenic National Center of Emergency Care (EKAV) ambulance.

The immediate mobilisation of police officers led to the arrest of an offender involved in a robbery, which took place in the early hours of (18-02-2024), at the expense of two young citizens (woman and man) in the area of ​​Evosmos.

This is a 22-year-old foreigner who, after entering with his accomplice in a vehicle where the two victims were riding, took away a sum of money and personal belongings from them using physical violence.

Following searches, police officers of the Direct Action Directorate of Thessaloniki located the above-mentioned of the perpetrators, who they brought to the Kordelio-Evosmou Security Department.

The patients were transported by EKAV to a city hospital for medical treatment.

With the case filed against him, the arrested person will be taken to the competent Prosecutor.
