AEGEAN has announced that it has secured another slot at London’s Heathrow Airport. It is adding a 4th consecutive daily flight to its schedule, connecting Athens with the UK’s strongest international hub. The new flight will operate daily, except on Saturdays.
It will depart from Athens at 4:00 p.m. local time and from London/Heathrow at 7:00 p.m. local time. This new flight option will provide significantly more choices for passengers and improve interconnectivity with the islands via Athens.
As of today, the flight is available on reservation systems and will start operating on a yearly basis (summer and winter) from March 31, 2024.

AEGEAN also increases the frequency of its flights to other major European cities, such as Frankfurt with 5 daily flights (2 from/to Athens, 2 from/to Thessaloniki, 1 to/from Heraklion), Larnaca with 8 flights (7 from/to Athens, 1 from/to Thessaloniki), Rome, Zurich, Geneva, Paris, Berlin and along with Dubai, the newly added destination, offers enhanced choices to passengers, contributing at the same time to the efforts made for the expansion of the travel period in Greece.
As a result of the efforts already pursued by the airline in the first two months of 2024, passenger traffic has recorded a significant increase, both on the domestic network by 11% and on the international network by 7% compared to 2023.
