India

At the heart of the JOIST Innovation Park philosophy is the connection of the academic community with the market. This is a difficult undertaking everywhere in the world, but especially in Greece, where efforts to bridge the gap between research and its application in business have been slow to start.

JOIST Innovation Park

In its almost two years of operation, the JOIST Innovation Park, nestled in the urban fabric of Larissa, has implemented a network of multifaceted actions. Yet, it maintains a fixed ambition: to transfer knowledge, technology, and innovation - wherever it develops and is produced - in small businesses and locally.

It is an extroverted purpose that is being put into practice every day and which now transcends the country's borders thanks to a memorandum of cooperation between JOIST and Adani University of India, with the aim of cooperation between the industry and academia of the two countries, the exchange knowledge, and the promotion of innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership skills necessary for the 21st century.
