Turkey Imposes Export Restrictions on Israel Amid Gaza Aid Dispute

Turkey has announced immediate restrictions on exports to Israel across 54 different categories of products until a ceasefire is declared in Gaza, according to the Turkish Trade Ministry.

Following Ankara's declaration of measures in response to Israel's alleged rejection of its request to participate in an aid airdrop, the ministry stated that the restrictions would encompass various items including iron and steel products, construction equipment, and machinery.

Turkey has been actively providing humanitarian aid to Gaza, sending tens of thousands of tonnes since the commencement of the war in Gaza.
