A 5.6 magnitude earthquake rocked central Turkey on Thursday afternoon, with its epicentre near Ankara. The quake, which struck at 18:11 local time, jolted the cities of Tokat and Sivas, sending tremors through the region. The focal depth of the earthquake was recorded at 5.25 km.
