French Land Forces Commander Visits Greece to Bolster Military Cooperation

On Wednesday, Lieutenant General Bertrand Toujouse, the Commander of the French Land Forces, made an official visit to Greece at the invitation of Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, the chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff.

The two military leaders engaged in discussions focused on enhancing the relationship between their respective armies. Key topics included expanding bilateral military cooperation, developing a shared strategic culture, improving interoperability, providing Host Nation Support, and advancing innovation, research, and experimentation in joint exercises and training. They also explored avenues for collaboration between military academies and training institutions.

After the meeting, Lieutenant General Toujouse delivered a brief address to the personnel of all three branches of the Greek Armed Forces, emphasising the importance of the strengthened military ties between France and Greece.
