The concerts were on May 17 in Melbourne, May 18 in Adelaide and May 24 in Sydney, with a final performance scheduled on May 25 in Melbourne.

Originally hailing from the Athenian neighbourhood Egaleo, Katy Garbi began her musical journey as a teenager, performing alongside her younger sister, Liana, and Yiannis Floriniotis.

Her solo career took off with the release of her debut album, “Prova,” in 1989. It was followed by “Gialia Karfia,” which saw success with tracks like “Fantasmataki.”

However, her third album, “Entalma Silipseos,” truly catapulted her to stardom, selling 30,000 copies and earning her gold status.

Garbi’s popularity soared further when her song “Pes To M’Ena Fili” led to her representation of Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 1993, where she placed 9th with “Ellada, Hora Tou Fotos,” making headlines with her controversial outfit choice.

Subsequent albums like “Atofio Chrysafi,” “Arhizo Polemo,” and “Evaisthisies” solidified her status as one of Greece’s most beloved singers, dominating the charts with numerous hits and earning multiple awards.
