easyJet Introduces New Routes to Athens and Beyond

EasyJet has announced its largest release of new routes, offering 60 new routes available for booking, including 33 routes launching from 11 UK airports. Among the highlights is a new winter service to Tromso in Norway, marking the airline's first departure from London Gatwick, Bristol, and Manchester to this destination.

Additionally, the release includes a year-round service from London Gatwick to Strasbourg, easyJet's new French destination.

Twice-weekly flights to Tromso will commence on 11 November from London Gatwick (Mondays and Fridays), 19 November from Manchester (Tuesdays and Saturdays), and 5 December from Bristol (Thursdays and Sundays), offering customers the opportunity to plan arctic adventures and witness the Northern Lights.

Ali Gayward, easyJet UK Country Manager, expressed excitement about the new routes, emphasizing the airline's commitment to providing customers with a wide range of destinations and great value. The flights to Strasbourg from London Gatwick will operate three times a week, allowing for flexible week or weekend breaks to explore the historic French city.

In addition to the Tromso service, easyJet has launched three routes from London Luton to Athens and Basel starting on 7 November, and Djerba in Tunisia starting on 11 November. The Athens route will operate three times a week, providing a gateway to the Greek islands, while Basel will have four weekly flights, and Djerba will operate year-round on Mondays and Fridays.
