Tension and incidents occurred in Syntagma Square around 1 pm on Friday, just a few minutes after the completion of the large rally for Tempe.
A group of people began breaking marble outside the King George hotel, and then Molotov cocktails and firecrackers were thrown in the courtyard of the Parliament.

Hooded individuals set fire outside the Grande Bretagne hotel, where they wrote slogans, including the word “anger.”
Subsequently, the same groups moved towards the courtyard of the Parliament and began throwing Molotov cocktails, resulting in a fire in the sentry box of the Officer of the Guard at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier.

The same individuals threw stones and other objects at the police forces within the courtyard of the Parliament, while according to reports, a kiosk vendor was injured and was taken by the police to a safe location until the arrival of the ambulance.
Police officers are trying to remove the protesters who are leaving the square after the completion of the rally for Tempe.
