World No. 8 Stefanos Tsitsipas refused to address rumors about potentially working with Goran Ivanisevic after Roland Garros.
The 26-year-old, now coached by Dimitris Hatzinikolaou following his split with father Apostolos last summer, is focusing on his game after a tough Monte Carlo quarterfinal loss to Lorenzo Musetti.
Tsitsipas, who won a 500-level title in Dubai earlier this year with a new racquet, struggled with 45 unforced errors, including 23 forehands, and a 49 percent first-serve rate in the 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 defeat. “It’s heartbreaking,” he said, citing his ineffective serve and missed forehands. “I felt I had every reason to win.”
Ivanisevic, previously linked with Novak Djokovic, Marin Cilic, and Elena Rybakina, could bring valuable experience if he joins Tsitsipas’ team.
