Spanish tennis star Paula Badosa has all but confirmed her split from Greek champion Stefanos Tsitsipas, marking her 28th birthday in Dubai with a bold message: “sexy and single.”

In a weekend Instagram carousel, the former World No. 2 celebrated her birthday wearing a sash emblazoned with the phrase, sharing photos of herself posing with friends, playing tennis and enjoying the sun.

“Chapter 28, here we go! Heart full… Thank you to the ones who made it so special. Love you,” Badosa wrote.

The tennis ace also sported another sash reading “28 and still a 10,” while her birthday cake carried the message: “Older, wiser and hotter than ever.”

Though neither athlete has publicly addressed the breakup, the pair no longer follow each other on Instagram, and traces of their relationship have been removed from both profiles. Earlier this month, Tsitsipas reportedly told fans at Athens airport that he was single.

Paula Badosa appeared to confirm her breakup with Stefanos Tsitsipas, celebrating her 28th birthday in Dubai wearing a “sexy and single” sash as both tennis stars unfollow each other on Instagram.

The signs of a split follow Badosa’s emotional Instagram post on November 9, where she reflected on heartbreak and healing.

“Sometimes life shakes us so hard that we think we won’t be able to get up… Healing is looking at yourself with compassion… when you heal, you not only free yourself from the past, you reconcile with life,” she wrote.

Badosa and Tsitsipas have had an on-again, off-again relationship since first being linked in the summer of 2023, when she attended his French Open match against Sebastian Ofner.
