easyJet Boosts Greek Connections with New Manchester-Preveza Route

Easyjet

Athens, November 21, 2025 – Budget carrier easyJet is ramping up its presence in Greece for summer 2026, kicking off with a fresh direct flight from Manchester to Preveza. This addition bolsters access to one of the country's rising regional hubs on the Ionian coast.

Launching June 24, 2026, the route will run twice a week—Wednesdays and Sundays—giving northern England travelers easier access to Preveza's beaches, the Ionian Sea, and surrounding islands like Lefkada and Paxos.

This fits into easyJet's push to link more UK cities with Mediterranean hotspots. In Greece alone, the airline will add Newcastle-Rhodes, Newcastle-Corfu, Bristol-Thessaloniki, and Amsterdam-Thessaloniki services for the same season.

The expansion doesn't stop there. From UK bases including Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, London Southend, London Stansted, Newcastle, and Glasgow, easyJet will unveil 16 new routes to 10 countries. Highlights include Italy (Pisa, Bari), Spain (Seville, Tenerife), France (Montpellier, Paris), Portugal (Lisbon), Cyprus (Paphos), Egypt (Sharm El Sheikh), Cape Verde, the Canary Islands, Jersey, and Malta—catering to sun-seekers and urban explorers alike.

"These 16 routes from eight UK airports deliver a mix of idyllic island getaways and lively city vibes, all at unbeatable prices," said easyJet UK Country Manager Kevin Doyle. "We're thrilled to offer more options and can't wait to see customers aboard."
