The complete closure of London Heathrow today will impact at least 1,351 flights arriving at or departing from the airport, with further cancellations or delays likely as aircraft end up out of position. Flightradar24 data reveals that 120 planes originally headed for Heathrow are now diverting to other airports or returning to their starting points due to the shutdown.

This major disruption stems from a significant power outage triggered by a fire at a nearby electrical substation, forcing the airport to halt all operations.
