On April 3, 2025, Athens hosted a moving tribute to Konstantinos Sfakianakis, a Greek hero who saved Raphael and Bianca Ventoura during the Holocaust. His daughters, Marielli and Sofia, received the Yad Vashem Righteous Among the Nations medal at the Zois School, joined by Greek Education Ministry Secretary General George Kalantzis, honoring his legacy as a beacon of courage and humanity.
