Thessaloniki commuters will soon benefit from reduced fares on public transport, with the new metro and bus tickets set at €0.60 per ride. Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Staikouras announced these changes, which include a 10+1 ticket bundle for €5.80 and a €16 monthly unlimited travel card for both buses and metro. The new fares aim to encourage combined metro and bus use, with the metro’s debut anticipated by November 30.
