Greek Australian Melbourne born Christopher Chronis is an Australian Fashion Industry Award winner, best known for his success in the 90's. The genre of glamourous fashion and the 'supermodels' era, the fashion designer capitalised on that style and established himself and his brand a notable position in the Australian fashion industry, that went on to see him winning multiple awards for his designs.
Many would remember his labels CCD (Christopher Chronis Designs) and Gas Station with their iconic flagship stores on Chapel St in South Yarra, Melbourne. At the peak of his success he expanded and opened stores within Melbourne and interstate, including launching several other brand affiliated ventures such as the CCD café in Highpoint Shopping Centre, a bar and restaurant on Chapel St and launching his own signature fragrance Christos.
His talent and success reached an international level that resulted Chronis to becoming the head designer for Global Designer Brands and signed for the Playboy Icon luxury evening-wear collection for men and women. He also opened Playboy concept boutiques in Australia, New Zealand and a London flagship store in Oxford Street.
The ever fashion forward, risk taking, business savvy Chronis, now resides in Vietnam where he recently launched his new collection ‘Sultry Saigon Nights’ by Christos Chronis, during Vietnam’s International Fashion Week.

Bold and vibrant colours, prints, textures, sequins and embellishments are used throughout the design’s collection, made up of 70 individual pieces.
The inspiration behind Chronis's latest collection is taken from Saigon in the 1990’s, celebrating the 50 years of diplomatic relations between Australia and Vietnam.
To mark and celebrate the occasion the designer launched another show stopping runway surprise after presenting his collection...proposing to his girlfriend!
As Chronis walked out on stage accompanied by his model girlfriend, dancing down the runway as the music played, he surprised all by getting down on one knee and proposing to his partner who tearfully said 'YES' as the crowd cheered and applauded. The fiancée of Christopher Chronis took to her Instagram account to share the happy news and wrote, “The most magical moment in my life that I will cherish forever.”

The collection ‘Sultry Saigon Nights’ is true to the designer’s trademark style that’s associated with sexy, glamorous, edgy, elegant, confident and chic. Each item of clothing speaks a language of stylistic sophistication.
